Janet Reeves is an illustration and mural designer living in Austin,Texas.
She received a BFA from the University of Kansas in art. Her studies include painting, art history, computer illustration, and web design.
Her illustrations fuse line drawings with engaging textures, while presenting subject matter in uniquely abstracted ways. Seeking a more intimate relationship with the process of art-making, she creates a loose dialouge with her artwork similar to that of a personal diary.
She strongly advocates all creative therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, yoga, meditation, and being in nature.
